Following the incident, concerns have been raised on social media about the safety of women, with many users demanding stricter action and better security measures.

According to the police, a woman from Subhash Nagar filed a complaint on April 24, stating that the accused had been troubling girls in the area since October 2025. The accused was arrested from the Clement Town area. During questioning, he admitted that he used to follow girls at night and secretly peep into their rooms and bathrooms. Police also said that cases were already registered against him in the past.
