Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that he has directed the officers concerned to contact Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant to guide him on the issue of purchase of land in Uttarakhand.
The CM wrote on social media on Saturday, “Dear Pant you are the pride of Uttarakhand. You have brought laurels to Devbhoomi with your superb performance in the sports.’’ Dhami also commended Pant for his desire to come back to his home State to serve it.
The statement of the CM comes after the social media post of the star cricketer directed to CM Dhami. In his post, Pant had asked Dhami for help in finding land in Uttarakhand. He said that he wants to shift base to Uttarakhand and also wants to build his first home there.
Pant said that he has been unsuccessfully trying to get land in Uttarakhand for three years and sought guidance on the issue. He also mentioned that getting the land as a gift would be ‘lovely’ because of his connection with the State and his role in representing India on the international stage.
