BJP leaders brainstorm on VS poll preparedness in Nabin’s presence

Brainstorming on the election preparedness of the Bharatiya Janata Party for the Vidhan Sabha elections of 2027 was held in the meeting of the extended State committee executive here on Wednesday. The leaders discussed the functioning of the government, strengthening the organization of the party and the party’s position at the booth level in the State. The meeting, held in the presence of National President Nitin Nabin, is considered important in terms of strategy of the party for the Vidhan Sabha elections.
At the commencement of the meeting the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, state in-charge Dushyant Gautam, State president Mahendra Bhatt, former CM and national vice president Tirath Singh Rawat, state government ministers, state officials, district presidents, general secretaries and heads of the frontal organisations of the party hoisted the party flag.
On his arrival in the afternoon, the national president Nitin Nabin was given a rousing welcome. The BJP workers welcomed him by presenting him with a picture of Baba Neeb Karori Maharaj.
In the proceedings of the day, the state executive passed two political resolutions. The union minister of State Ajay Tamta introduced the resolution, “Resolve for a Developed India from a Developed Uttarakhand.” The resolution highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s achievements during his 25 years as Chief Minister and Prime Minister. The second resolution condemned the Congress’s stance on the Haldwani ‘purification’ issue.
In the meeting of the core committee chaired by Nabin, discussion on the ground situation of the party, feedback and internal survey were held. BJP State president Mahendra Bhatt stated that the party’s strategy is ready down to the booth level and that the BJP will fight the 2027 elections with full might. He also mentioned the party’s stellar performance in the civic and cooperative elections. National media coordinator and Garhwal MP Anil Baluni said that the BJP is poised to create history by forming the government in Uttarakhand for the third consecutive time. Citing development work, he claimed a return to power with an absolute majority. The meeting of the extended working committee is being seen as a preliminary picture of the Vidhan Sabha election roadmap for 2027.
