Bollywood actors Konkona Sen Sharma and Amruta Subhash earned international accolades at the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2021. While Konkona Sen won the award for ‘Best Actress in a Leading Role’ for her Netflix Anthology film ‘Ajeeb Daastaans: Geeli Pucchi’, actor Amruta Subhash won the award for ‘Best Actress in a Supporting Role’ for Netflix drama ‘Bombay Begums’. The latter took to social media and thanked her team. Konkona Sen’s mother Aparna Sen took to Twitter to congratulate her daughter on her win.
Amazon Prime Video series Mirzapur 2 won award for ‘Best Original Program’ and Umesh Bist won award for ‘Best Original Screenplay’ for Sanya Malhotra starrer ‘Pagglait’. Director Hansal Mehta took to Twitter to congratulate all the award winners.
