Act against leaders if found guilty, says former CM

Haridwar MP and former chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has said that the latest allegations levelled in the Ankita Bhandari murder case are very serious. Talking to media persons, he said that any political leader, irrespective of his or her designation, should face action if found guilty of such serious crimes.
Reacting to allegations levelled by Urmila Sanawar, who claims to be the second wife for former BJP MLA Suresh Rathore, regarding the alleged involvement of some BJP leaders in the Bhandari murder case, the senior BJP leader said that the allegations are very serious. Rawat said, “I had expressed serious concerns even when the incident had come to light. As far as allegations on some party leaders are concerned, I believe that even if it was my son or my brother, he should face action if found guilty of the crime.”
