Kumaun University, Nainital stated that it has declared the final semester examination results of undergraduate programmes conducted under the National Education Policy (NEP-2020) through following a timely, transparent and consistent process. Senior KU officials said that the university had not only conducted the examinations on time but also completed the evaluation process in a very short period and provided the results to the students before time.
Notably, KU, Nainital has become the first university in the State to declare the final semester examination results in accordance with NEP-2020.
The KU vice- chancellor, Prof Diwan Singh Rawat said that the OMR technology had been used for the first time there due to which the process of entry of marks after evaluation had become fast and error- free. “This not only saved time but also brought unprecedented improvement in the quality and accuracy of the results,” he added.
