Shakti Pumps achieves strong Q1 FY26 results with solar & export growth

Shakti Pumps (India) Limited (SPIL) reported a robust start to fiscal year 2026, with Q1 revenue reaching Rs 622.5 crore, a 10 per cent increase year-over-year.

The company’s performance was boosted by strong execution in the solar pump sector and consistent growth in its export business. As a leader in the PM-KUSUM scheme, Shakti Pumps holds an approximately 25 per cent market share.

The company’s order book stood at Rs 1,350 crore as of August 1, 2025, supported by steady demand from key agricultural states. The company is also expanding into new areas like rooftop solar, industrial applications and EV motors.

SPIL is undertaking a substantial Rs 1,700 crore capital expenditure plan to double its production capacity and establish new facilities for EV motors and solar cell manufacturing. The company also successfully raised Rs 292.6 crore through a Qualified Institutional Placement to help fund its expansion.
