GBPUAT delegation to tour Russia from Sept 14-29

A delegation comprising three faculty members and seven students of Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) will visit St Petersburg State University of Veterinary Medicine (SPSUVM), Russia from September 14 to 29. This visit is taking place under the internship training and academic exchange programme.
This initiative is part of a collaborative effort under the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between SPSUVM and GBPUAT. The delegation will visit various departments, clinical facilities and academic institutions. The students and faculty members will also meet officials of the Moscow University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences and the Indian Embassy in St Petersburg and Moscow.
The vice- chancellor, Manmohan Singh Chauhan congratulated the selected students and faculty, saying that such international experiences strengthen scientific collaboration and cultural exchange.
This tour is being coordinated by the associate director of International Affairs and Associate Professor of Veterinary College, Anita Arya.
This visit is expected to provide new direction to technology transfer and collaborative research in various areas of veterinary science, GBPUAT officials said.
