The Nainital-based Lake City Welfare Club deliberated extensively on the preparations for the Mahila Holi festival to be held on February 22. The president of the club Abha Shah presided over the meeting. It was decided in the meeting that this year too like previous years, it would be celebrated with fervour.
The MLA, Nainital, Sarita Arya would be the chief guest of the programme, Shah said, adding that a number of accomplished women from Almora, Bhimtal, Nainital, Haldwani and Ramnagar would be felicitated.
The co-ordinator of the programme Deepa Pandey said that the celebration would start at exactly 11 AM.
