Four new dengue cases reported in Dehradun

Four new dengue cases were reported in the Dehradun district on Saturday. The Dehradun chief medical officer Dr Manoj Kumar Sharma stated that out of the four patients reported positive for dengue on Saturday, three of the patients were admitted to Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, while one was treated at Synergy Hospital. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed dengue cases in the district to 259.
Currently, there are 27 active dengue patients receiving treatment. Among them, 13 are hospitalised at Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, two at Himalayan Hospital, two at AIIMS Rishikesh, one at Graphic Era Hospital, one at SPS Hospital and seven are being treated at home. On Saturday, health officials collected 177 dengue samples, increasing the total number of samples tested to 13,644.
