Nadda to chair BJP State core committee meeting on Feb 14

Following organisational changes, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s State core committee will hold its first meeting on February 14. BJP State president Mahendra Bhatt said that the party’s former national president and Union minister JP Nadda will chair the meeting in which the party’s activities will be reviewed and discussion will be held on the strategy for the 2027 elections and on how to communicate the government’s achievements to the public.

Further, discussion is being held on the basis of the survey report and all have been directed to focus on their Vidhan Sabha constituency. Bhatt clarified that the basis for selecting the party candidates for the Assembly polls will remain the scope for victory.

Interacting with the media at the party’s State headquarters here on Sunday, Bhatt said that detailed discussions will be held on the coming political challenges and the party’s organisational procedures in the meeting to be chaired by Nadda. The plans for the current and future programmes of the party will also be prepared in this meeting. How to include organisational activities along with the achievements of the Central and State governments will also be discussed by the core committee.

Stating that the scope for victory will be the deciding factor while finalising party candidates for the election, he added that all the MLAs and leaders have been told to politically focus on their constituencies. All have to attempt to maximise government work and organisational activities in their areas, he added.
