U’khand to implement Gujarat’s cooperative model: Rawat

The Cooperatives minister Dhan Singh Rawat has said that the cooperative model of Gujarat will be implemented in Uttarakhand.
The minister made an announcement in this regard during his Gujarat visit on Thursday.
He said that better banking facilities will be provided in the Cooperative banks by using the digital system of banking. He added that as per the Gujarat model emphasis will be laid on the recovery of non-performing assets (NPAs) of the banks.
Rawat visited Panchmahal District Cooperative Bank, Next Economical Service Cooperative Society Limited and Ashapura Charia Milk Society in Gujarat on Thursday.
Cooperatives secretary BVRC Purushottam, registrar of Cooperatives Meherban Singh Bisht, joint registrars Neeraj Belwal and Mangla Tripathi accompanied the minister.
