The Kumaun Garhwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI) in collaboration with Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) organised a workshop to boost MSME industries. The workshop discussed in detail the low interest rates for industries under lean manufacturing scheme. The assistant general manager, Rudrapur branch of SIDBI , Gyanesh Kumar and Uttarakhand cluster manager, SIDBI, Devaki Nandan. The treasurer, KGCCI, Ankit Bansal presided over the workshop.
Addressing the workshop, the outgoing chairman, KGCCI, Ashok Bansal said that his organisation and SIDBI would jointly organise programmes to boost MSME prospects in this region in future, too.
Underlining the role of his bank in strengthening MSMEs, Gyanesh Kumar said that his bank would continue to help MSME sector through facilitating loans at affordable interest rates. “We are also providing overdraft facility,” he said.
