A discussion was held on the role of principals during the annual conference of the principals of Shri Guru Ram Rai Public Schools here on Friday. Organised under the theme ‘Principal as Pedagogical Leader’, the participants discussed the principals’ role and responsibility in framing roadmaps of the schools they head.
The regional officer, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Dehradun, Manish Agarwal along with a number of other dignitaries inaugurated the conference. In his address, he said that the format of teaching has changed in the current scenario. “After the arrival of Artificial Intelligence, a challenge has also emerged for the educationists. Today, the teachers need to be far more updated than the old times through continuous training and technical skill development.
Over 100 principals of SGRR Education Mission run in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Delhi among other states participated in the conference.
