DEHRADUN: Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC, Dehradun, celebrated the 77th Republic Day, commemorating the adoption of the Constitution. The day began with the hoisting of the national flag by the principal S K Dhiman, accompanied by two teachers, Tara Joshi, PGT (Hindi) and Suman Kanojia, TGT (Hindi), who are set to superannuate soon.
The cultural programmes presented by the students included song, dance, speeches and action songs.
The principal urged students to embrace continuous learning, build strong character and champion democracy’s values. The event concluded with chants of Vande Mataram.
