According to the police, workers were protesting on Friday over their demands when some anti-social elements allegedly entered the protest and started pelting stones at the factory premises and police personnel. Following the incident, a case was registered at Selaqui police station under relevant sections of law. Police said that on Saturday they received information that some people were moving in groups around companies and residential areas in Selaqui and Jamanpur.
