In latest news from Uttarakhand, at least three persons, including two women, of the same family, were killed in an accident along the Haldwani-Rudrapur road. Police said that the deceased were coming to Haldwani from Rudrapur after visiting a relative admitted at the Rudrapur Hospital when the mishap happened. They were residents of Line No 17 and 18, Vanbhulpura.
Police further said that accident was the result of a deadly collision between a Scorpio and an Alto.
