Haridwar leader Pramod Khari leaves Congress party
Would join BJP with supporters today

The woes of faction-ridden Uttarakhand Congress are continuing to increase. On Wednesday the senior leader from Haridwar, Pramod Khari resigned from the party. He will join the BJP with his supporters on Thursday.
Addressing media persons on the day Khari alleged that dedicated workers in Congress are being neglected and insulted there is no one in Congress state leadership to listen to the problems of the workers. He said that the politics of Pariwarvad has ruined the Congress in Uttarakhand and in the entire country, as a result of which the Congress is losing elections again and again. He alleged that tickets are being sold in the party by its leaders, while the workers who have served for a long time are being sidelined. He said that he has served in the NSUI and Congress party for the last 20 years, yet he was not given a ticket in the assembly election. Khari accused the PCC president Karan Mahara of continuously neglecting the workers. He said that he will join the BJP along with hundreds of his supporters in Laksar on Thursday.
