Electronic gadget stealing accused owns properties worth crs

In latest news from Uttarakhand, police team probing the theft of electronic gadgets from the doctors’ room in Sushila Tiwari Government Hospital had a jaw dropping experience when they found that the accused Arun Pathak (34) possessed properties worth crores of rupees. Police had started investigating the theft case after a doctor of the medicine department of the hospital Rahul Singh lodged complaint at the Kotwali police station on April 22, alleging that electronic gadgets of the doctors, including laptops and mobile phones, had been stolen from the doctors’ rooms in the emergency and the department of medicine.

Scrutinising the CCTV footages, police team identified the accused who had stolen the missing gadgets while donning doctor’s apron as Arun, resident of Manpur, Dewalchor in Haldwani. What they learnt later is that Arun along with his brother owns properties worth crores of rupees. Besides, he runs a grocery and a gym. He is addicted to drugs and this is what forced him to steal gadgets of the doctors. Later, the stolen gadgets were recovered from his room. He was presented to court from where he was sent to jail.
