In latest news from Doon, while welcoming the Supreme Court’s ruling on EVM and VV PAT, the State BJP president Mahendra Bhatt ripped into the opposition, saying that knowing well that humiliating poll debacle is awaiting them, the opposition leaders are desperately seeking refuge in ‘faulty’ EVM.
Bhatt urged the State Congress leaders to not look back on the ballot paper-based electoral system and look forward to bring about electoral reforms by accepting the EVM-based electoral system. He further said that now is the time to reform the present electoral system to ensure smooth voting and 100 per cent voting.
