In latest news from Uttarakhand, the vice chancellor of Doon University Prof Surekha Dangwal called on the vice chancellor of Kumaun University Prof Diwan Singh Rawat to discuss on how to bring about qualitative improvement in the field of education, research and innovation in higher educational institutions of Uttarakhand. They are learnt to have discussed the roadmap for effective implementation of National Education Policy-2020 in the State in a phased manner under the guidelines received from the Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh.
Besides, both the VCs agreed to soon ink MoU as regards the subjects like Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics to promote research and innovation between the two institutions.
On this occasion, Prof Rawat said that this MoU would be an important step towards enhancing the quality of research and encouraging innovation in higher education institutions of Uttarakhand. Prof Dangwal said the same, stressing on academic exchange.
