Regularly review CM helpline 1905: CM to secretaries, HoDs

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has yet again directed the officials to promptly resolve the issues of the general public on the CM helpline 1905. The CM reviewed the functiining of the CM helpline 1905 at the State secretariat on Thursday. He said that secretaries and the Head of Department (HoD) should regularly review the CM Helpline. He said that the officials should ensure that the complaint is resolved at the level of the officer concerned and the complaints should not get escalated to a higher level unnecessarily.
Dhami said that the secretary in- charge of the districts should inform about the meeting convened by them to resolve the public problems in the districts.
He said that the district magistrates should ensure that BDC and Tehsil days are organised regularly. The CM added that the participation of the district level officers is mandatory in these meetings.
In the meeting the CM also inaugurated the web portal of e-archives of Dehradun district. The records of all the tehsils of Dehradun district have been scanned and uploaded on the portal. He directed that other districts should also move forward in making the web portal of e-archives.
The CM asked the officials to settle the pension related cases of the retiring personnel in a time bound manner. “ It should be ensured that no one has to make unnecessary rounds of offices in pension related cases,” he said and directed the CS to regularly review the pension cases of the departments.
In the meeting the CM also interacted with six complainants who had lodged complaints on the CM Helpline.
The Director ITDA Nitika Khandelwal informed the CM that arrangements have been made to register the feedback of complainants in the CM Helpline.
CS Radha Raturi, principal secretary L Fanai, secretaries Shailesh Bagoli, Nitesh Jha, Radhika Jha, Dilip Jawalkar,. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Chandresh Yadav, Brijesh Kumar Sant, V Shanmugam, R Rajesh Kumar and SN Pandey and the HoDs of various departments attended the meeting. All the DMs attended the meeting virtually.
