U’khand BJP sends panel of candidates for Kedarnath bypoll to central leadership

A day after the declaration of schedule of the Kedarnath assembly by- election by the Election Commission, the State parliamentary board of the ruling BJP has prepared a panel of the candidates and has sent it to the central parliamentary board of the party. The central parliamentary board will take a final decision on the issue and announce the name of its candidate soon.
The media in-charge of the State BJP Manvir Chauhan said that a virtual meeting of the State parliamentary board was held on Wednesday.
The meeting was attended by the State in-charge and national general secretary Dushyant Gautam, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and State party president Mahendra Bhatt. He said that the board discussed the names sent by the Rudraprayag district organization of the party. Chauhan said that elaborate discussion on the names was held in the meeting and it was decided unanimously that all the names should be sent to the central parliamentary board. The State president Bhatt was authorized to present the panel before the central parliamentary board.
Bhatt said that the organization of the party is geared up to register a massive victory in the Kedarnath by-election. He expressed confidence that the central leadership of the party will soon take a decision on the name of the candidate.
