Olympian Neeraj Chopra exhorts athletes to give their best in 38th National Games

Olympic gold medallist javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra has encouraged athletes to give their best in the 38th National Games slated to start in Uttarakhand on January 28. In a brief video message, he asked the athletes participating in the National Games to stay 100 per cent focused, keep their cool and give their best while also gaining experience which will also help them in future sporting events. He also wished all the best to those set to participate in the National Games in Uttarakhand.

Along with Chopra, various other Indian sports personalities have encouraged the participants and motivated them to make their best effort in the competition. Earlier, former international hockey player and coach Mir Ranjan Negi had expressed his excitement about the upcoming National Games and emphasised that this event will provide a platform for sports talent to shine, creating a sports environment in Uttarakhand that will attract international attention.

Meanwhile, the Uttarakhand government is leaving no stone unturned to ensure the successful conduct of the National Games. It has been focusing on various aspects including sports infrastructure, logistics and other issues to ensure that the National Games are held successfully in the State.
