Bhatt warns BJP leaders against public statements

PIONEEREDGE NEWS SERVICE | Dehradun
After allegations and counter allegations by several senior Bharatiya Janata Party leaders on each other for the last few days, the BJP State head Mahendra Bhatt issued a warning to all BJP leaders on Monday.
He instructed them to avoid making unnecessary statements and stated that unsanctioned statements will be considered indiscipline. He asked leaders to avoid such conduct in the future and to place their views only before the party forum. The State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan informed that in recent days, some MLAs and leaders had made unnecessary remarks on different issues.
The party leadership has taken this seriously and held discussions on the matter. Bhatt will meet all those who made recent statements and hear their views.
He stated that Bhatt made it clear that whether the matter concerns the public, the party or personal issues, it must be presented at the appropriate forum. Issues related to the government should be raised before the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and respective ministers, while organisational matters should be taken to the State leadership. He directed that no representative, office-bearer or party worker should make unnecessary or irresponsible statements about the government or the organisation.
He warned that any such act in the future will be treated as indiscipline. Bhatt said the BJP works on the principle of nation first, party second, individual last and the party cadre follows this line. He expressed confidence that such issues will not arise again.
