A police enquiry conducted by PS Vasant Vihar in New Delhi has found no prima facie evidence to support allegations made against VPVV Techno Construction Pvt. Ltd., the company said during a press conference held at the Press Club of India on Friday.
According to company representatives, the enquiry involved the service of notices, field visits to company premises, examination of directors and an opportunity for complainants to present evidence. The company stated that the enquiry concluded that no cognizable offence was established and that the complaint was found to be unsubstantiated.
Addressing the media, Aqeel Ahamad, Venkita Venkat and Rajan Malik presented documents and records related to the enquiry.
The company said it is a duly registered entity engaged in construction activities and has complied with all legal and regulatory requirements. It added that its directors and representatives cooperated fully with investigating authorities throughout the enquiry process.
VPVV alleged that the complaints originated from three former employees and maintained that the allegations lacked factual and legal basis. The company claimed that the accusations were intended to damage its reputation and business interests.
According to the company, the enquiry found that notices had been served to all concerned parties, field inspections revealed no suspicious activity, and complainants did not provide documentary evidence to support their claims.
The company categorically denied any involvement in unlawful financial schemes or other alleged misconduct and urged media organisations and digital platforms to exercise due diligence before publishing unverified allegations.
VPVV also announced that it has instructed its legal counsel to explore civil and criminal remedies against those responsible for what it described as false and defamatory statements.
“We will not allow false allegations, formally found to be without merit, to go unanswered. We remain committed to professionalism, integrity and lawful business practices,” Chairman Venkita Venkat said.
