Congress playing with students’ future with cheap politics: BJP

The Bharatiya Janata Party has alleged that the Congress is indulging in cheap politics at the cost of the students’ future. Responding to Congress’ allegations regarding NEET, the BJP State president and Rajya Sabha member Mahendra Bhatt said that Uttarakhand’s youth are sensible and trust Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. They will not fall for the lies being spread by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s messengers from Delhi, he said.
“Rahul Gandhi is not bothered about the future of the nation’s students. He is attempting to gain lost political ground by playing politics on this sensitive issue. The large Congress rally held in Bengaluru on June 21 when the NEET re-examination was held, caused many students to miss their exams due to delays caused by traffic jams. This once again shows that the Congress is more concerned about its political rallies and programmes than the future of the students. Their leaders from Delhi are arriving in Uttarakhand to misguide the youth but they will not succeed,” Bhatt said.
The BJP State president further said that while PM Modi waited at the airport to prevent any inconvenience to students appearing in NEET re-examination, the Congress did not even consider deferring its rally in Bengaluru in the interests of the students. He claimed that the government is committed to a transparent system and the bright future of the students, adding that the mafia facilitating exam malpractices since the Congress era was uprooted by the strict anti-copying law introduced by Dhami.
