Motherhood university’s agriculture department observed Kisan Diwas on Thursday. Vice chancellor Narendra Sharma paid tribute to Chaudhary Charan Singh on his birth anniversary. He said that Singh was born in a middle class farmer’s family and lived a simple life while always remaining connected to farmers. Sharma spoke about various aspects of Singh’s life and his ideals while exhorting the gathering to take inspiration from him.
