Following complaints the State administration has transferred the chief finance officer (CFO) of Uttarakhand Ayurveda University, Amit Jain. He has been attached to the directorate of pensions and entitlements. The Uttarakhand University Employees Federation (UUEF) has expressed happiness on the development.
The president of UUEF, Kuldeep Singh and general secretary of the federation Laxman Singh Ratuela informed that on June 23, the UUEF had dispatched a letter to the Additional Chief Secretary of Finance in which it demanded an immediate transfer of CFO of Ayurveda University Amit Jain. Rautela said that the federation said that investigation for a serious financial irregularity is going on and by staying the post Jain could affect this investigation. He said that the State administration took cognizance of the complaint of the federation and relieved him from his current post to the directorate of pension and entitlements.
The Federation expressed the prevailing disorder in the Ayurveda University would end and the problems being faced by the employees will also be resolved soon. The federation also reiterated the demand for transfer of the registrar of Doon University, stating that he has been working in the same university for 14 years and the problems of the employees are being ignored by him.
