Pauri SSP Lokeshwar Singh selected for UN-affiliated international organisation

Uttarakhand IPS officer and current Pauri senior superintendent of police Lokeshwar Singh has been selected for a United Nations-affiliated international organisation. The selection process involved candidates from around the world. Singh, a 2014 batch IPS officer, has served in various positions within the Uttarakhand police over the past 11 years.
He has worked in districts including Haridwar, Dehradun, Bageshwar, Champawat and Pithoragarh and currently serving as Pauri SSP. In his new international role, he will contribute to institutional integrity, peacebuilding and sustainable development. His appointment will represent India and Uttarakhand on the international stage.
Singh will submit an application to the police headquarters and State government for approval. After receiving the necessary clearance, he will be released from Uttarakhand duties to take up his responsibilities at the international organisation.
