The zonal office UCO Bank, Dehradun, under the aegis of the Reserve Bank of India, organised an RE-KYC awareness camp at the block development office, Sahaspur, with the aim of providing information to the general public about Re-KYC and other Government JAN SURKSHA schemes. Over 100 people participated in this camp.
During this event, the regional director of the Reserve Bank of India, Arvind Kumar shared important information about Re-KYC with all those present. He explained that with the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, open accounts are now almost 10 years old, making it absolutely necessary to complete the Re-KYC process for all accounts opened in all banks. He clearly informed that the people do not have to pay any fees for Re-KYC and it is completely free.
Among the senior bank officers present at the camp were the general manager, NABARD, Shashi Kumar and UCO Bank zonal manager, Randhir Kumar.
