Police have got remand from the court of the former woman BJP functionary from Haridwar who had allegedly let her 13-year-old daughter get gang-raped by her boyfriend and some others. According to police, they have got the remand of her boyfriend, too. This would help them collect more evidences of the crimes and it would strengthen their case, leading to impregnable charge-sheet and their conviction, police added.
They further said that the mother-boyfriend duo had had such crimes committed on the girl at several other places.
