40 delegates from U’khand to attend AICC session in Gujarat

Forty delegates from Uttarakhand will participate in the extended working committee meeting of All India Congress Committee (AICC) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat on April 8 and 9.
The vice president of Uttarakhand Congress Suryakant Dhasmana said that the AICC meeting is being organised in continuation of the meeting organised at Belgaum in Karnataka which marked completion of 100 years of the AICC meeting chaired by Mahatma Gandhi as president of the Congress party.
He said that the AICC extended working committee meeting will be held at Ashram Road on the banks of the Sabarmati river in Ahmedabad. The session will be presided over by the Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge. Dhasmana said that 40 delegates from Uttarakhand including senior leaders and members of the AICC from the State will attend the meeting.
