To mark Kargil Vijay Diwas, the Lake City Welfare Club, Nainital organised a programme during which floral tributes were paid to the martyr Major Rajesh Adhikari. Addressing it, the additional district magistrate (Finance and Revenue), Shailendra Singh Negi said that the sacrifice of Major Rajesh for the country would be remembered by the nation forever and spoke of the supreme importance of the protection of the nation’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity.
The president of the Nainital Municipality, Saraswati Khetwal mentioned that Lake City Welfare Club has been organising Kargil Vijay Diwas programme for the last 15 years.
