The leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi said that competitive examination papers are available on the Internet, Telegram, Signal and other online modes of those who have crores of rupees. He said this while addressing a large gathering as part of the Congress’ ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’ programme here on Friday evening.
Speaking to the crowd composed of youth and others, he said, “The condition of education in Hindustan is worsening. About 7.50 crore youth have been affected by paper leaks. There have been 152 leaks in the past 10 years with the authorities having a conviction rate of zero. No person has been jailed and nobody has been punished for such crimes yet. Those affected by the NEET paper leak are just the tip of the iceberg. Just like 90 per cent of the iceberg is underway and 10 per cent is visible, the reality of the paper leak scam is mostly concealed. We don’t really know how many paper leaks have taken place,” he said,

Addressing youngsters, he said that the paper leaks humiliated them, their hard work and their parents. “There is a menu card now for passing exams with NEET available for Rs 40 lakh, for example. Most recruitments are being facilitated for Rs 10 lakh,” he said.
The Congress leader also spoke about the various issues facing the nation and targeted the Centre for failing to tackle these effectively.
Earlier, four persons interacted with Gandhi on stage, with two of them complaining about the problems they face in Bihar.
