Pauri suicide, a proof of tyranny of BJP & extortion at behest of power: Arya

The leader of opposition in Vidhan Sabha Yashpal Arya has said that the suicide of Jitendra Negi as live proof of the tyranny of ruling BJP and extortion at the behest of power. He claimed that the accused Himanshu Chamoli is close to senior BJP leaders at centre and State.
Arya said that in a video message before his suicide Jitendra has clearly said that Chamoli had taken Rs 35 lakh from him to solve a dispute on a property and had forced him to spend a sum of Rs seven lakhs on his Kedarnath Yatra.
He said that when the Congress party demanded discussion on the law and order situation in the State under rule 310, the government blamed the opposition for disrupting the proceedings of the house. Arya said that the Pauri suicide case has exposed the pathetic law and order situation in the State and the unholy nexus between the BJP leaders and anti-social elements.
