In view of the continuous heavy rainfall in different parts of the state and warning of more rainfall given by the Meteorological department in next 24 hours, the State Emergency Operation centre has issued a warning of flood like situation and water logging in ten districts of the State.
In a letter to district magistrates of Almora, Dehradun, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Champawat, Pauri, Nainital, Tehri, Rudraprayag and Pithoragarh the duty officer of State Emergency Operation centre said the DMs should observe caution in view of the warning of low to medium level floods.
