The three-day Rudra Yagna and Ramcharit Manas recitation concluded on Friday in the revered Shri Kashi Vishwanath shrine in Uttarkashi. On this occasion, prayer was held for the wellbeing of the disaster-affected people of the State.
The organisers of the Yagna explained that it had not been performed for the welfare of any one individual but for the welfare of all from the State, country and the world.
“We have prayed for the end of the suffering of the people due to natural calamities as well as for the wellbeing of all of the world,” one of them said.
