Century Pulp & Paper Mill celebrated the 77th Republic Day with enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The national flag was hoisted at the administrative complex by the mill’s chief executive officer, Ajay Kumar Gupta who extended greetings to employees, officers and labour union representatives.
Addressing the gathering, Gupta recalled the adoption of the Indian Constitution on January 26, 1950, describing it as the foundation of India’s identity as a sovereign, secular and democratic republic. He highlighted the values of equality, liberty, justice and fraternity and noted that 106 constitutional amendments reflect its adaptability to changing times. Expressing pride in India emerging as the world’s fourth-largest economy, he called for collective effort, innovation and dedication to strengthen national progress.
