Upping the ante against the State government with murder spree continuing unabated in Dehradun as well as Uttarakhand, the Congress veteran and the Leader of the Opposition in the State Assembly, Yashpal Arya said that when the capital is vulnerable to the criminal forces the condition of the common people across the State is easily understandable. “The criminals are prowling everywhere while the administration remains a mute spectator. These reckless murders signify the fact that the intelligence and surveillance systems have crumbled,” he said.
He further said that five murders in a fortnight is a grim warning for the State government. “This is not just a figure but reflects how insecure every family is in the State,” he added.
