UVSP starts evaluation of answer sheets of board examination of class X & XII

The Uttarakhand Vidyalaya Shiksha Parishad (UVSP) started the process of the evaluation of answer sheets for the Class X and Class XII board examinations. The secretary of UVSP Vinod Simalti informed that an orientation programme for the teachers assigned to the evaluation process was organised on Friday. He said that the process of evaluation of the answer sheets will get concluded on April 10. The evaluation will occur in several phases, beginning with the initial checking of answer sheets, followed by a rechecking process and data punching.  Simalti also said that after that, the marks for the answer sheets will be sent to the UVSP headquarters. Following the completion of the evaluation, the results will be prepared, with the announcement date to be determined by the examination committee’s decision, he informed. 

The UVSP has set up 29 evaluation centres across the State. A total of 1,457 examiners, along with 160 deputy chief examiners and 320 auditors, have been assigned for the evaluations of high school (Class X) students. For the intermediate evaluations (Class XII), there are 1,298 examiners, 143 deputy chief examiners and 284 auditors appointed. 

Importantly, the board examinations under UVSP for class XII and X  began on February 21 and concluded on March 20. The examinations took place in 1,261 centres in the State , with 112,266 candidates participating in the class X examination and 102,986 candidates taking the class XII examination.
