On the initiative of the Nainital Dugdh Utpadak Sahakari Sangh Limited (NDUSSL), Lalkuan, the 13th Aanchal milk parlour was inaugurated on Haldwani Gas Godown road on Wednesday. The senior functionaries of NDUSSL declared on the occasion that the people would get pure and high quality milk and milk products of the Aanchal brand from this parlour.
Inaugurating the parlour on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti and also to mark Uttarayani fair, the Haldwani mayor Gajraj Bisht said that the parlour would sell various dairy products, including Aanchal brand milk, ghee, cheese, lassi, buttermilk, salted buttermilk, chhena and rabri. He also hailed NDUSSL and its initiatives. “There has been a significant improvement in the production of clean and quality milk and milk products. The Aanchal brand not only provides better milk and milk products to the people but provides employment to the youth,” he added.
The NDUSSL president Mukesh Bora stated that in accordance with the instructions of the Dairy Development minister, Saurabh Bahuguna, work is underway with the resolve to bring the Aanchal brand to every household. “So far, 12 Aanchal milk parlours have been operational across Nainital district and the 13th one has started operating today,” he said.
A large number of milk producers and employees were present during the inauguration.
Notably, two refrigerators of 800 litre capacity have been installed in the newly inaugurated Aanchal milk parlour.
