3 drug peddlers carrying marijuana arrested

Police arrested three drug smugglers and seized over 14 kg of marijuana from them. The seized goods are estimated to be worth approximately Rs 3.61 lakh.
In their first action, Bhatrojkhan police arrested a garment trader Salim (30), resident of Moradabad. The accused was carrying marijuana hidden among the garments he was to sell. Police said that over six kg of marijuana was recovered from him.
In another incident, Salt police arrested two smugglers—Kuldeep (32), a resident of Ramnagar, and Dinesh (22), a resident of Jaspur—during a vehicle check. About 8 kg of marijuana was recovered from their bike.
In both the cases, police have registered cases under the NDPS Act against the alleged drug smugglers.
