Rally to be held in Haldwani against Aggarwal

In latest news from Uttarakhand, the Pahadi Army that comprises several parties and organisations, including Uttarakhand Kranti Dal and Rajya Andolankari Sangathan, is organising a rally in Haldwani town on Sunday, demanding immediate dismissal of the State Cabinet minister Prem Chand Aggarwal for his abusive comment against the pahadi community. While addressing a media conference, the president of the Pahadi Army said that people in their thousands are likely to attend the rally to vent out anger against the minister. He also slammed the State BJP president Mahendra Bhatt for having hurled abuses on the people’s spontaneous movement.
He further informed that the rally would start at Buddha Park at 11 AM and move towards the office of the commissioner. A large number of organisations would participate in the rally with their thousands of followers, he added.
