Kedarnath victory talk of the nation, Congress tense as no alternative to Modi & Dhami: BJP

The Bharatiya Janata Party State president Mahendra Bhatt said that the party candidate’s victory in the Kedarnath Assembly bypoll is being talked about across the nation. He claimed that even the Congress leaders are now acknowledging that they do not have any leader to present as an alternative to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Bhatt said this during a function held to welcome the newly elected Kedarnath MLA Asha Nautiyal at the BJP State office here on Saturday.
Thanking the public and the party workers, Bhatt said that the verdict of the people supports the efforts to take the developmental efforts forward while rejecting efforts aimed at spreading regionalism and rumours. “The BJP national president JP Nadda has sent his greetings to all on this electoral victory. This victory is also a result of the hard work put in by the chief minister along with all the office bearers and workers of the party,” he said. Referring to the leaders who were interested in contesting the bypoll, the BJP State president said that all of them had once again proved how one leaves personal expectations and ambitions aside and works together according to the ideology of the party.
Targetting the Congress, he said that they had not contributed either in the creation of Uttarakhand or its development and have tried to stall every positive work. As part of the anti-Sanatan stance, they tried to affect the devotion of the people in Kedarnath but they were taught a lesson by the public. Bhatt exhorted the party workers to unite and work for achieving victory in the coming local body elections. The Kedarnath bypoll win has further strengthened the party and sent a message to the opposition. This trend should be maintained in the coming local body, Panchayat and the 2027 Vidhan Sabha elections, he added. The BJP State president further averred that even the topmost leaders of the Congress are admitting that they do not have an alternative to PM Modi and CM Dhami. This shows that the BJP is on the right path, he said.
