The District Level Development Authority in Tehri sealed two buildings being constructed illegally in the Narendranagar block of the district. Yaduvendra Chowdhary and Neeraj Gupta were constructing the buildings sealed by the authority.
The action taken by the authority was carried out on the instructions of the authority’s vice chairwoman and district magistrate Nitika Khandelwal.
The district authorities across the State have been directed by the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to monitor construction activities and take necessary action against encroachment and unauthorised constructions.
The sealing in Tehri is part of the measures directed by the State government, officials said. Action will continue in the future against unauthorised constructions, officials of the authority added.
