Uttarakhand Sanskrit Shiksha Parishad declares class X & XII board exam result

The Uttarakhand Sanskrit Shiksha Parishad released the results of the class X and class XII examinations on Friday. A total of 1,775 students ( 950 for class X and 825 for XII) took the Sanskrit Board examinations, with an overall pass rate of 88.48 per cent for class XII and 92 per cent for class X.

According to officials, Rudransh Uniyal, a student of Shri Parshuram Chaturvedi Vidyalaya, Dehradun, secured the top position in the class X board examination with a score of 88.2 per cent. Prince Pundir, a student of Gurukul Sanskrit Uttarmadhyama Vidyalaya in Jwalapur, Haridwar, got the second position with a score of 87.4 per cent. Jointly securing the third position were Anmol, also from Shri Parshuram Chaturvedi Vidyalaya and Prakash Chandra Pathak from Durgadutt Kapilashrami Sanskrit Uttarmadhyama Vidyalaya in Haldwani, each scoring 86 per cent. In the class XII, Saksham Prasad from Shri Jaidayal Agarwal Sanskrit Uttarmadhyama Vidyalaya, Srinagar, achieved the top position with a score of 93.4 per cent. Arjun Kumar, a student at Gurukul Sanskrit Uttarmadhyama Vidyalaya in Jwalapur, secured the second position with 90.8 per cent, while Aditi Jangid from Dronsthali Aarsh Kanya Gurukul Vidyalaya in Dehradun came in third with 88.6 per cent. 

Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that the results of the Sanskrit Board exams were released on time. He commended the efforts of the departmental officials and staff who conducted the examinations.  Rawat interacted with the students and their parents, extending his best wishes to the successful candidates. He encouraged those who did not pass to remain determined and to start preparing anew for the next examination, aiming for better results.

Further, the director (Sanskrit Education) Kanchan Devradi informed that this year’s council examination was completed within the stipulated time frame. The results have been declared with transparency in the virtual presence of the Education minister. Students can access their exam results conveniently via the departmental website and Digi Locker.
