UVSP to honour teachers for good results in board exam today

The Uttarakhand Vidyalaya Shiksha Parishad (UVSP) is set to honour 114 subject teachers from various schools across the State for their outstanding performance in the board examinations 2026. The Best Teachers Award Ceremony will be held on May 15 in the auditorium of UVSP Ramnagar, starting at 11 AM.
According to the officials, this year, as part of an innovative initiative, the UVSP has decided to recognise exceptional teachers at the board level. Teachers from the following districts will be honoured: 12 from Haridwar, 14 from Dehradun, four from Uttarkashi, five from Tehri, six from Pauri, two from Chamoli, five from Pithoragarh, three from Champawat, five from Almora, eight from Bageshwar, 14 from Nainital and 36 from Udham Singh Nagar.
The objective of this award ceremony is to improve the quality of education and encourage teachers throughout the state to perform at their best, the officials added.
Notably, this event is being organised in collaboration with the Kaushal Academy International Institute of Management and Technology.
The secretary, UVSP, Vinod Simalti had earlier said that this initiative would motivate teachers, ultimately leading to improved results in future UVSP board examinations.
