Students pass with flying colours in ISC; ICSE exams

Students of various schools in Dehradun, Roorkee and Nainital performed well in the ISC and ICSE exams.

In Dehradun, the students of Doon Cambridge School performed well in both classes X and XII. In class X science, Tanvi Silora scored 90 per cent, Divyanshi Kumar scored 88.4 per cent while in XII science, Abhishek Thakuri and Surya Pratap Singh Rathore scored 90 per cent. In XII commerce, Aakriti Ghildiyal scored 92.5 per cent while Akshita Rawat scored 91 per cent.

In St Thomas’ College, Aoms Negi scored 99 per cent, Praveen Rana scored 98. 6 per cent and Lavanya Rana scored 98.4 per cent in ICSE (X) while  Pragya Dobhal scored  99. 5 per cent, Shaziya Parveen scored 99 per cent- both in science stream and Jay Joshi scored 95.5 per cent in ISC (XII).

In Touch Wood School, class X students Anchita Ghildiyal and Bhumika Bisht scored 94.8 per cent, Kartik Verma and Akshat Kumar scored 93.6 per cent, Khushi Pundir scored 93 per cent, Akshay Taneja and Saurabh Chauhan scored 92.8 per cent in science. Naina Kapoor scored 95.2 per cent, Sanvi Neha Sinha scored 95 per cent and Deep Sasmal scored 89.4 per cent in the commerce stream. In class XII science, Aviral Sharma scored 96.5 per cent, Vinay Pandey scored 96 per cent and Jessica Jha scored 95.25 per cent while in the commerce stream Sudhanshi Kothari scored 95 per cent, Netra Verma scored 94 per cent and Rishika Singh scored 92.75 per cent.

In the Cambrian Hall school, ISC students of science stream, Chahak Jain scored 98.25 per cent, Anshuman Dangwal and Prateek Singhal scored 97 per cent, Abhay Semwal and Anuditya Mishra scored 96.25 per cent,

Abhayveer Yadav and Deepika Gururani, Abhishek Bhandari and Agrani Rana scored 96 per cent. In humanities stream, Nishtha Uniyal topped with 94.75 per cent followed by Kushwaha G Yogesh with 94 per cent, Krishna Kumar with 92.75 per cent, Pearl Vaid with 92.5 per cent, Prakhar Dhyani and Suhani Joshi with 91.5 per cent. In commerce stream Simran Kaur topped with 97 per cent followed by Riyansh Gupta with 96.25 per cent, Aditya Jindal with 93.75 per cent, Riya Gulati with 93.75 per cent and Anushka Sati with 90 per cent.

 Among ICSE science stream students Dharmishta Malhan topped with 97 per cent followed by Anish Kalra with 96.8 per cent, Adrika Gupta with 96.4 per cent, Deepti Panwar with 95.4 per cent, Garima Pathak, Manvi Sharma and Mehak Pokhriyal with 95.2 per cent. In commerce stream Yuvika Gurung topped with 95.8 per cent followed by Shubhangi Goyal with 95.6 per cent, Subhojit Bagchi with 94.6 per cent, Aisha Goyal and Mohammed Zaki with 94.4 per cent.

In the Pine Hall School, 100 per cent results was secured in ICSE and ISC. Raghvander Pareek and Abhinav Aggarwal topped the school with 96.4 per cent in ICSE followed by Akshay Rawat with 95.8 per cent and Laiba Khan with 95.4 per cent.  Dhruv Karnwal secured 94.4 per cent followed by Deepika Negi with 93.2 per cent, Tanisha Negi with 93 per cent, Saumya Garia with 92.6 per cent, Sudhanshu Kumar Singh with 92.4 per cent and Mohammed Faizal with 91.2 per cent. The school director Anurag Anand informed that the students secured upto 100 per cent in Computer Application, 99 per cent each in English and Hindi, 98 per cent in Art, 93 per cent in History, Civics and Geography, Economics and 91 per cent in Mathematics. In ISC, Shivam Yadav topped the school with 95.5 per cent followed by Divyansh Kumar Singh with 94  per cent, Lokesh Singh Badela with 93.75 per cent, Jyotiraditya Singh Guleria with 93.5 per cent and Siddharth Rawat with 91 per cent.

In the Carman Residential and Day School, XII science students Diti Tripathi scored 95.2 per cent, Misthi Jindal and Divyanshi Pundir scored 95 per cent while XII commerce student Vasu Sahani scored 92.25 per cent. Similarly, X science student Raghav Sharma scored 96.2 per cent while commerce student Sukhdev Singh scored 93.4 per cent.

In Roorkee’s St. John’s Senior Secondary School, principal OC Samuel informed that Grace Samuel, Devyani Sharma and Mark Samuel topped class X with 88 per cent each while XII science students Shuvanshu scored 93 per cent, Sania Anjum scored 88 per cent, Kushi Saini scored 86 per cent. XII commerce student Chirag Mittal scored 89 per cent.

In Nainital, four CISCE board schools secured 100 per cent results. Among class XII students, All Saints’ College student Mudrika Agrawal topped while among Virendra of Sherwood College topped among class X students.

Sherwood College principal Amandeep Sandhu informed that 74 class X students and 47 class XII students passed the exams with good marks. Twenty seven students had scored more than 90 per cent.

In St Joseph College, principal brother Hector Pinto informed that 77 students had passed in class X and 64 in class XII exams with good marks. All Saints’ College principal Kiran Jeremiah said that 73 students of class X and 60 of class XII had passed their exams with good marks. Thirty six students had scored more than 90 per cent.St Mary Convent principal sister Manjusa informed that 73 students of class X and 87 of class XII had passed their exams with good marks.
