The UCO Bank’s Dehradun zonal office signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the directorate, Treasury, Pension and Entitlements department, Finance, government of Uttarakhand on Friday under which the bank will open salary accounts for the State government employees for the salary package in which the account holders will be offered numerous facilities. While the director of the department, Amita Joshi and the additional director, Mohd Gulfaam Ahmed signed it for the Finance department of the Uttarakhand government the general manager, resource department, head office UCO Bank, Amit Srivastava put his signature for the bank.
Earlier, the Finance department of the government of Uttarakhand had approved the contract with UCO Bank for the payment of salaries under the Corporate Saving Bank Salary Package of State government employees whose salaries are paid by the treasuries through the banks.
Among the senior UCO Bank officers present during the MoU signing ceremony were the zonal head, Randhir Kumar and the head of the resources department, Tripti Kumari.
